
A fire broke out in Bandhan Marriage Garden in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh late on Friday night. The fire took a monstrous form in no time. On receiving the information, fire brigade vehicles immediately reached the spot and started efforts to control the fire. On getting the information, police and administration officials also reached the spot and took stock of the situation.
Fire broke out at one o’ clock at night
According to the information, some program was going on at Bandhan Garden situated in Jhansi Road area on Friday. During this, a fire broke out in the garden at around one o’ clock at night. The interior items including the computer, sound system and shamiana were burnt to ashes in the fire. The fire brigade vehicles which arrived on receiving the information of the fire, started efforts to control the fire. After about an hour of effort, seven fire engines controlled the fire. But by then, goods worth lakhs of rupees were burnt to ashes. It is being speculated that the fire in the marriage garden was caused by a spark from a short circuit.
